Where did Moses Go?

Epiphany:

There doesn't seem to be a well-formed concept of afterlife in the Jewish religion . How strange! I always assumed that a well-defined Heaven was one of the things that the three major monotheistic religions- and many others besides- had in common.

Shintoism doesn't include an afterlife - or at least, it doesn't include an afterlife that you're supposed to live purely and morally in order to attain. Interestingly, the appeal of Buddhism's concepts of rebirth/"existence" was so appealing that religion/spiritualism in Japan is now a Shinto-Buddhist mixture.
